How to Measure
For the best fit, compare these measurements to a similar garment you already own. Lay the garment flat on a smooth surface and measure without stretching the fabric.
Chest – Half Measure
Lay the garment flat and measure straight across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam. This is the half-chest measurement.
Chest – Full Measure
The full chest measurement is twice the half-chest measurement. For example, a garment measuring 22" across the chest has a full chest measurement of approximately 44".
Body Length from HPS
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, where the shoulder meets the neckline, straight down to the bottom hem of the garment.
Sleeve Length - CB
Measure from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the outside of the arm to the end of the sleeve cuff.
Body Measurements
If you are using the Adult general sizing guide, take your body measurements while standing naturally. Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug without pulling it tight.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape level around your body and under your arms.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest part of your torso. Keep the tape relaxed and avoid pulling it too tightly.
Sleeve Length
Measure from the centre back of your neck, across the top of your shoulder, and down your arm to your wrist. Keep your arm slightly bent for the most accurate measurement.
Fit Tip
Garment measurements show the actual dimensions of the finished garment, while the general sizing guide is based on body measurements. For the most accurate fit, we recommend comparing the garment measurements to a sweatshirt or hoodie you already own and like the fit of.
